Carl Kubitz – President and Chief Executive Officer
With his computer engineering degree from Oregon State University and hands on experience in developing applications software, Carl entered the world of technology leaders. He assisted a variety of customers implementing unique applications in all business fields. He gained invaluable expertise and insight to data communication, computer hardware and software, and the financial networks from many of the leaders in each field.
Carl recognized the need for testing and certification products that could run on PCs and connect to mainframes while assessing the performance of an electronic financial networks. By the mid 1980s, he had launched his first business, Lexcel, Inc., to do precisely that.
Always on the cutting edge, Carl formed Lexcel Solutions, Inc. to pursue the growing demand for his test systems. He conceived and developed a communications platform allowing users to run simulators over TCPIP instead of from standalone test machines. This movement brought about monumental improvements in flexibility, efficiency and productivity.
Today Lexcel holds a number of patented products, the most recent one issued in Q4 2008.
Steve Cox – Chief Technology Officer
Steve completed a Masters Degree Computer Science from Washington State University in 1982. Steve has an impressive list of accomplishments as a senior software developer for a number of industry leaders. He has developed application code for Bell Labs, user interface code for Tektronix, and financial transaction processing, including EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) applications for Deluxe Data.
Steve's accomplishments at Lexcel include a library of more than 300 simulators. He understands the issues that arise when dealing with standards for processing financial transactions which have influenced the design and implementation of several migrations and gyrations of Lexcel application software. Steve is a visionary developer. He keeps abreast with current and emerging industry trends and forecasts future direction for Lexcel software.
Steve was awarded a second Masters degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Human Behavior, providing him with the unique ability to combine Computer Science and Human Behavior. Steve is user sensitive in his design and development and transforms complex scripting language into user-friendly programs giving users the power to probe the transaction process with ease, speed and precision.
Today, Carl and Steve continue to set high standards and lofty goals for the company while encouraging each member of the team to make the extra effort required to build great customer relationships and exceed the expectations of every client.
