First Data Automates Association Mandate Testing and Pre-Certification Processes
Scottsdale, AZ, April 23, 2009 – Lexcel Solutions, Inc., the only provider of business virtualization software and services for the payment technology industry, announced today that First Data, a global technology and payments leader, has implemented an enterprise-wide Lexcel network testing platform for pre-certifying credit card association mandates. Lexcel has successfully installed and implemented Lexcel® Interface Manager and Lexcel TestSystem® Network debit and credit card association simulators. In conjunction with the software deliverables, Lexcel provided First Data with professional services for installation and training, ensuring that utilization and testing benefits would be immediately realized and utilized to their full potential.
First Data was faced with managing multiple association testing projects, limited and aggressive timelines, and the challenge of multiple testing groups learning each of the association provided simulators. Generating credit and debit transactions across multiple simulators pressed time constraints, presented access challenges, and provided limited functionality to the user groups.
When presented with Lexcel’s solution for network testing, First Data quickly recognized the advantage of Lexcel TestSystem Network’s common user interface for testing the unique ISO message formats. Lexcel’s intuitive common interface eliminates the need for users to learn multiple association provided simulators. Users quickly become familiar with Lexcel test flow and methodology and are able to focus on message format details, rather than familiarizing themselves with multiple interfaces. A standard network testing interface provides First Data with an automated and script based environment, which significantly reduces certification time frames.
Lexcel’s network simulation is project licensed on the Lexcel Interface Manager platform within First Data. Network testing solutions are now installed within the QA, Technology, BIS and Debit Tech groups. The Lexcel Interface Manager’s project licensed solution allows each of the First Data user groups unlimited access to Lexcel TestSystem Network. Lexcel utilizes industry feedback and in-depth research and development to ensure that their transaction simulation remains on the cutting edge with regard to testing access, efficiencies and automation.
In addition to the installation of Lexcel’s software deliverables, Lexcel’s experienced staff performed an in-depth evaluation and pre-planning process to complete the intricate configuration services and professional installation on-site at First Data’s Omaha offices, further ensuring a successful project implementation.
