RBS Lynk Extends Internal and Remote Testing by Capitalizing on Lexcel Products, Architecture and Support
RBS Lynk, the US payment processing arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, has expanded its unique end-to-end transaction processing environment with new POS Terminal / Host formats, quadrupled the number of Host connection points, created two new test regions, and performed in-depth user training using Lexcel’s network solutions and a tactical team of onsite support services. In addition, working side-by-side with the RBS Lynk Quality Assurance and Development teams, Lexcel enhanced RBS Lynk’s Lexcel Interface Manager environment for ultimate control over their newly expanded environment .
RBS Lynk's ability to perform closed-cycle tests such as generating Lexcel-scripted POS Transaction requests into its Host System and then routing the transactions to a Lexcel Issuer Responder for authorization - all from a single desktop and within a specific dedicated test region - makes clearly evident the value Lexcel brings to many large processors.
From the successes achieved through working with Lexcel to architect and support its current Lexcel Interface Manager environment, RBS Lynk is now expanding this model to include dedicated Lexcel regions for external merchant testing and white-room Quality Assurance.
