The United States Postal Service (USPS) required a reliable testing solution in their expansive project of bringing the point-of-sale (POS) processing of over 37,000 retail locations in-house. The necessary solution would automate the response generation of Credit Card, eCommerce and Debit Card transactions validating various channels throughout the transaction lifecycle. Lexcel Solutions, Inc. was awarded the contract and began the intricate procedure of moving USPS processing in-house by implementing their premier software testing solution, Lexcel TestSystem Network.
Residing on Lexcel’s enterprise-wide platform, the network test system accurately responds to thousands of transactions, validating data content and routing between a variety of interfaces while exercising the Host-code functionality of network switch environments.
Lexcel’s experienced onsite team consulted with USPS regarding enhancements that would further enable a long-term repeatable testing process. With information and requirements gathered from USPS, Lexcel assembled a thorough site plan including requirements, site-specific configurations and detailed user-focused documentation. This proactive planning resulted in the implementation of a sophisticated response building platform that accurately mirrors network production environments. This platform provides thousands of validated transactions, each with interrelated field dependencies.
