The Bank of Nova Scotia, located in Toronto, Ontario, issued a request for proposal to acquire a third party distributed system to provide an advanced testing platform for all facets of their ATM network processing, residing primarily within the Caribbean. Key aspects of this solution were support of multiple language sets and currency values for NCR and Diebold formats.

The solution implemented included Lexcel Interface Manager with Lexcel TestSystem ATM® PowerSet, which includes Lexcel TestSystem ATM - NCR and Diebold, and Lexcel ATM Transaction Generator - NCR and Diebold. Another key requirement was in-depth training and enhanced support so that they could promote the platform’s functionality to their internal testing groups and other remote departments within The Bank of Nova Scotia.

Based on the success of the installation and product functionality, The Bank of Nova Scotia sought to further expand their testing capabilities by promoting Lexcel to develop another upcoming network interface gateway for their customers in the Caribbean.
