Smart & Final Selects Lexcel for EBT Transaction Testing
Smart & Final, operator of more than 235 non-membership warehouse stores selected Lexcel for EBT transaction testing.
Lexcel's EBT host test system allowed Smart & Final’s in-house IT group to simulate EBT transactions without requiring access to the actual EBT system.
Changes made by Smart & Final to their Base24 environment to support EBT were verified by Lexcel's EBT host test system. Testers were able to creatively use the advanced Issuer functionality to create positive and negative testing scenarios and validate Host processing logic.
