Lexcel Supports STAR Test System Deployment In Conjunction with Merging ISO 8583 Platforms
Beginning in 1989, STAR® recognized the need to provide a deployed PC-based testing solution emulating its ISO 8583 transaction format for STAR Members. With no experience in deploying, or implementing and supporting software solutions to enable Member testing, STAR looked to Lexcel to provide process, methodology, and professional management.
From the beginning, Lexcel Solutions, Inc.® has continued to support STAR and its Members through multiple ISO 8583 format conversion processes, Y2K testing, Triple DES implementations and regulatory compliance mandates. Throughout the past 15 years, STAR and Lexcel have moved forward together through the implementation and support of hundreds of test systems for STAR switch-connected processors.
As market changes continue to evolve, further conversions to other consolidated and compliant STAR deployed test systems will continue to include intuitive software applications, legacy protocols (BISYNC, SNA, X.25), TCP/IP communication protocols, field/sub-field level validation and cross-editing, and compliant
DES algorithms.
