STAR Offers Lexcel TestSystem™ to Simplify Network
Certification

STAR recently announced its choice of the Lexcel TestSystem to facilitate and simplify
network certification for all network processors. This user-friendly, Windows-based
transaction simulator is available to all STAR processors using the STAR ISO, STAR Northeast ISO, MASM, or MAC ISO message formats and runs on a standalone PC workstation.
With the Lexcel TestSystem, STAR processors can simulate STAR transactions from an
acquirer and/or authorization perspective. The simulator:
- Provides real-time responses to the processor’s test transactions
- Uses actual test card data to create and send scripted acquirer transactions to the
processor’s host system
- Simulates an authorization processor when transactions are received from the
processor’s acquiring system
For a very reasonable cost, the Lexcel TestSystem will improve a processor’s development,
