Credit Union 24®
Network To Market Lexcel® Developed Transaction Testing
Application
The Credit Union 24® Network, one of the largest
credit union-owned deposit-taking credit union networks
in the nation, named Lexcel® as the Networks
preferred provider for Network testing utilities. Credit
Union 24 has signed an agreement to jointly market
the Credit Union 24 Networks Lexcel TestSystems®
developed by Lexcel Solutions®.
The agreement will enable the Credit Union 24 Network
to offer Lexcels premier testing software in
the Credit Union 24 format to its members at a significantly
reduced price.
The testing software is designed to assist Credit
Union 24 members with testing by providing a stand-alone
utility that resides internally at a credit union allowing
members to test 24x7 as required. The system enables
members to test both issuer and acquirer messages by
emulating the Credit Union 24 Network. The system also
adds testing-specific functionality to develop application
code more quickly and accurately, improve the QA process
and reduce the amount of time necessary for certification
and implementation.
Ed Barthelme, Lexcels former Vice President of Sales
noted, the agreement creates a win-win-win situation
that should enable Credit Union 24 Network members
to monumentally improve their testing and QA results
while enabling the Network to improve overall network
integrity. We are very pleased to add the
Lexcel testing software to our array of products and
services, stated Ed Young, Credit Union 24 CIO
& Senior Vice President. We strive to be
more than just another network by providing
our Network Participants with the best products and
services available.
With 17 links, the Credit Union 24 Network has more
EFT processor links than any other regional ATM/POS
network. The Credit Union 24 Network has network participants
located throughout 20 states with 7 million cardholders
and access to over 13,500 ATMs located throughout the
U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, Guam, Portugal and
England. Many of these ATMs are surcharge-free through
the Credit Union 24 Network voluntary surcharge-free
CU HERE Program. The Credit Union 24 Network provides
credit union participants members point-of-sale
access at many large retail chains, including Wal-Mart
Stores, Inc., Sams Club, Publix Super Markets,
Inc., Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., Eckerds, Walgreens,
Food Lion LLC, plus thousands of local retailers across
the nation.
